I retired from medicine in 1993 as I went to study Law.  In 1997, I spear-headed the development of the first weight bearing kinematic Imaging platform (3DO) used in Research, Orthopedics, Podiatry and Physical and Sports Medicine.   I was also fortunate to develop and run a Residency Program which specialized in Functional Surgery and Biomechanics.

I have been a medical surgical specialist in lower extremity medicine since 1976.   My passion was the utilization of high technology applications in the advancement of long term foot, ankle and extremity care.   I have been a researcher in a number of surgical and functional areas of medicine.   In pushing technology, I found myself bucking a slow and resistant medical 9industry that was slow to change.   This resistance came from the Insurance Industry (cost containment & managed care) which affected the medical legal environment and prevented the standard of care from advancing to its fullest.
